Yes, Joan has her (CRS) Certified Residential Specialist, ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), e-Pro Certification, SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) and is an Associate Broker and is a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, but just as important as her Real Estate knowledge and accomplishmentsis her positive attitude and winning smile. Joan has consistently been one of the top producing agents in Scottsdale. She is a member of the RE/MAX Platinum Club,and has served as Chairman of the Luxury Home Tour of Phoenix and on the Scottsdale Association of Realtors Standards and Practices Committee. She was named in Who's Who in Residential Real Estate in North America and "Top Pro" National Relocation & Real Estate Magazine. Joan grew up in the Boston area and graduated from Syracuse University. She started her Real Estate career in Bronxville, NY.

Kai, GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), joined Joan in Real Estate in 1993 and married her a year later, thus consolidating a great business and personal relationship He brings to the business 30 years of experience as a hotelier, as Senior Vice President/Area Manager of ITT Sheraton, followed by a stint as Senior Vice President, Operations, of Ramada International. Kai was born in Warren, Minnesota, graduated from St. Olaf College and has an MBA from Michigan State. He brings a special something to the home buying process when he sometimes breaks into song while showing a house.

Merged families total four married children andfour grandchildren,most of whom live much too far away.Each summer Joan and Kai escape to their lake home in Northern Minnesota for fishing, hiking, tree chopping and restoring the soul. Both Joan and Kai are active in Rotary International and both are Paul Harris Fellows.
